The MJ Event was established in 2001 with the goal of raising money for children’s cancer research through a national network of family, friends and business relationships. In 2015 Mo and Jim (the M and J!) were named as one of 50 (out of 27 million) Fortune 500 employees to receive the Heroes of the 500 award for their philanthropic work. Since the inception of the MJ Cancer Free Event, over $7 million dollars has been generated to cure cancer. Recently, the Dallas-based MJ Cancer Free organization has partnered with the national Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation (VLCF). By joining forces we’re better equipped than ever to fight cancer by funding those leading this fight and supporting advancements in innovative, compassionate care! Please join us for a weekend at the Cowboys Golf Club and Gaylord Texan Resort for golf and the infamous Friday Night Kick Cancer's TAILgate Bash which will feature a live and silent auction, a corn hole tournament, food and drinks and live music! With your continued support and "the MJ motivation" we're getting ever closer to curing cancer! We would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support. Together we can make a difference! If you have any questions about this year’s event, please contact Amy at 262-696-5162 or amy@capturesportsmarketing.com.

On Dec. 17, we will be discussing this topic with (additional speakers will be added): • Mark Emmert, NCAA president (one-on-one conversation) • Mark Walker, North Carolina congressman • Ramogi Huma, National College Players Association executive director • Donna Lopiano, former University of Texas women’s athletic director/president-elect of The Drake Group • Michael McCann, University of New Hampshire sports law professor, Sports Illustrated legal analyst • Ben Strauss, Washington Post sports reporter/co-author of Indentured: The Inside Story of the Rebellion Against the NCAA The discussions will occur from 12:30-2:30 pm ET.
